Manuscript apparently copied in the 17th century from the Manila edition of 1628 or itself the press-copy used for that edition. 2 parts in one. The manuscript bears the note: "Nuestro M.R.P.Fr. Alonso di Mentrida religioso di la orden de S. Augustin N. P. anadido e impresso por Fr. Martin Claver de la misma orden y prior del la Convento de M.a M.a Sa. Monica de Panai.
Formerly part of the library of the Orientalist and linguist William Marsden (1754-1836), a portion of which he presented to King's College London in 1835.
A selection of William Marsden's manuscript collection was transferred from King's College London to SOAS shortly after the School's foundation in 1916.
Title page missing from the first part. The second part bears the title: "Bocabulario de la lengua Bisaya Hiligueyna iharaia de la Isla de Panay y Sugbo y para las de mas Islas".
