TL;DR: This will give you direct link to Google Drive file.
I often found my self in situation where I need to embed a screenshot from Google Drive, but the Drive would only give me the website URL where I can view the file not the direct link to it.
This is especially usefull for embeding screenshots in pullrequests (github) or chatting (Flowdock, Slack, Skype).
