It is often said in the legends of Caduceus, that world had always been in balance. Everything had an equal and an opposite.As was the ground, so was the sky. As is light, there is dark. Day and night, sun and moon, everything co-existed.
This perfect dance of balance was disrupted by an evil spirit; bringing with it the darkness, which had never been evil.
Thus, the light fought and sealed away the darkness. Heartbroken, Light wept for the loss of her counterpart.
Mother Lux is the patron Goddess of Caduceus, and globally she is known as the mother of White Mages. She symbolizes everything which is good and light. Although, light does not always equate to good, such as darkness does not always lead to evil.
