Auraline grew up in a Coven in England, among the rainy terrain and foggy shorelines. Their Coven was a small one, but very friendly and unknown to the locals. They were safe to the point of covering their scales with concealer and mingling among the humans.
Then; people got suspicious. Everyone could recall these people but never saw them go into any homes. News of this reached the hunters, and an investigation was spurred.
Auraline was sent from England to Deosil in fear of hunters finding her. Not only was it because she was a child; but also because of the strange power she harbored in the gem on her chest. She could control ice at will; bending and forming water into any shape she pleased before freezing it. In the muggy months of summer she could summon coolness over her body, and the frigid winters never seemed to bother her bare skin. It took much research for her parents to find they had given birth to an especially rare and powerful Celeste, though it was this fact that for many years she was never spoken to or of in her Coven. They feared her in all her childish might, for a long time she couldn't control her powers and to this day she still has a difficult time doing so and avoids using them all together.
Now she lives among other Celeste, convinced her parents will reunite with her anyday, but her hopefulness is for nothing. Her parents were killed by hunters, and the only ones who know are a handful of adults including the Priestess Circe.

She's carefree and reckless, much like a child. Even though she nears her late teens; many consider Auraline to be the child she acts as. She just wants to have fun and play, and to be entertained every waking moment. Though she does appreciate her down time, she likes to be moving around and doing something whenever she can.
