Poster for artist Flo Oy Wong\u2019s \u201cWhispers of The Past\u201d presented by the 40 Acres Art Gallery in Sacramento, California. The exhibition ran from January 30 - March 24, 2007.The poster features a collage of images created by Flo for her art installation inspired by the story of Bill King, a Chinese-American who volunteered to fly for the Chinese Air Force in WWII and became a highly decorated Flying Tiger. Also depicted in the collage are members of King\u2019s family including \u2018Jim King,\u2019 Bill King\u2019s grandfather Jow Kee, who came to San Francisco from China in 1855 at the age of 16. Jow Kee worked as a foreman and labor contractor for the Central Pacific Railroad, building the western end of the Transcontinental Railroad.
