Moshe Aviv Tower
Moshe Aviv Tower is the tallest building in Israel. The 68-storey magnificent building, located in the Diamond Exchange District, is generally known as the City Gate . Architects Amnon Aviv and Amnon Shwartz designed this tower, inspired by the famous Westend Tower in Frankfurt. The building is named after Moshe Aviv, the owner of the construction firm, who died two years before it was finished in 2003. Shifts of 40 workers managed to build five floors per month, so construction lasted only five years. Today, there are many offices and private apartments in the building. The Moshe Aviv Tower backed with bright pink light as part of the breast cancer campaign in 2004.
