Alas, it must be me, emotionally distraught without much thought. Thinking, it acquires logic that has been lost to the ages.
What tragedy has forsaken him?
Alas, it is life itself, created and destroyed within a century. Decade by decade, wrinkle by wrinkle, and youth to ancient history.
When did it occur, this omen?
Alas, not long after and not long before, mayhap sometime here or there along the lines of life, like the reading of a palm whereupon in the end no pulse is heard.
Where be this relief in this world we call Madness?
Alas, only in the insanity of the mind, the boggled brain that thinks the Earth is round only to discover it is only imaginary, a figment that does not exist and never did.
Why bother with it at all?
Alas, because it bothers us to no end, from birth to death, and beyond the realms of spiritual enlightenment.
How will we survive?
Alas, not long\u2026 no, not long at all."
