The PONDS-8 series shows the four most naturally superior functions
above, and the four most naturally inferior functions below. Imagine throwing a pebble
into a still pond, and watching the ripples expand. One side
light, the other side dark.

You can see this yourself. Note, for example, the J Types will favor all sorts of external rules and norms, both Te and Fe. P Types are subjective in their Ti and Fi, usually disdaining external rules/norms in favor of their own way of doing it. For the J, that subjective part comes from their Perception--the filtered way they perceive the world. In other words, Input is subjective/filtered for the J. Not so much for the P. (unless the Dark side is involved, which is entirely possible.)

You'll see some "experts" switching the order of these 8 funtions, but don't believe anything you read--just watch and see what people actually do, and what you do. It is simple to see, and you will see more clearly without reading nonsense.
