Santaand Spidey attended S & S Persad Supermarket First Annual Christmas
Village at 24 Guyaguagare Mayaro Road, Mayaro on Sunday 13th December
this year and met wonderful visitors, the Persad family, Mayaro MP
Ruston Paray, Mayaro Corporation Chairman and Vice Chairman, Raymond
Cozier and Hazare Ramdeen, Councillor David Law, Shaffick, Renelle and
other Councillors. A beautiful Christmas Tree was installed and lit by
the Mayaro Member of Parliament, the Honourable Ruston Paray. This first
Christmas Village had over 40 Exhibitors on the opening day and will
run until the 24th of December from 11am to 8pm daily. Santa and Spidey
will be there on special days and daily giveaways and special prizes are
planned. This project was conceptualized by Councillor Renelle,
designed and built with a qualified team and decorated under the
hardworking Councillor's Supervision. Santa having been exposed to
Architecture and Community Psychology was excited to be a part of this
inaugural effort in beautiful Mayaro and overnighted at the spacious
Sunset Apartments lower down the road. (North Pole in Diego martin was
too much travel at 9pm.) The Built Environment is so important for human
comfort and Community Psychologists must work with Stakeholders,
Community Leaders, Community Experts and Community Members, to give
value to Projects designed, built and supervised by Communities
themselves. Hats off to all involved with this First Annual S & S
Persad Supermarket Christmas Village, a brilliant display of Community
Spirit by the Persad Group of companies, at this Social Distancing
Period of our growth.
