She painted her face blue. She wanted to try something new. Perhaps she'd try purple, but still she was just a girl and deep down quite a pearl.
No, blue, nothing more than blue, and nothing else but blue. True taboo can never be written when one is still smitten over the color of sky and sea.
A painted face of any color or hue can only be construed as a temporary tattoo. Blue in the face is an old saying, yet it's still better than greying.
And being blue is better than black. Darkness and depression is a terrible attack. Anxiety also can lead to red. Yellow and brown can lead to dread.
So she painted her face blue with nothing more to do and nothing more to say. Today she'll be blue, tomorrow back to peach. To each their own I guess and yet she still dresses to impress.
Into the blue we must pursue the personality we take in part. Blue is not the color of our heart and yet it still tears us apart. In nights and days, beyond tomorrow too, blue will bring us to white and only then will we see the light.
