Supermegatopia was the primary series of the site, a furry webcomic which ran from March 2000 to
September 2011 featuring funny and ridiculous superhero stories and
light cheesecake. Drawing inspiration from The Tick, it was primarily a
parody of super hero stories with a massive amount of comics series and
sub-comic series, and sub-sub-comic series all about different
characters, heroes, villains, and the ice cream lady. It had a brilliant
sense of humor and never took itself too seriously. It was a
collaboration between two brothers. Brian Burke was the artist, and
Stuart Burke was the technical web... guy.

Description from the website
Welcome to Supermegatopia, Kiwi Capital of the World, Kwijybo's largest city and a haven for tourists and travelers the world over. Run by a secret, shadowy figure, Supermegatopia's more visible puppet ruler, Mayor Dave, is a perennial favorite with the voters. Other than kiwis, Supermegatopia is best known for its large superhero/villain population. These costumed crusaders are known locally as 'rats with capes.' Due to the almost-daily battles between these spandex-junkies, some detractors call Supermegatopia the world's "largest open air insane asylum." So, if you're looking for introspective stories about people dealing with inner conflicts and realistic situations, find another website 'cause you're not gonna find any of that intellectual crap here!

About this archive
I created this archive using a program called HTTrack. Most websites in 2004 were static, consisting of little more than html files and images, so it was relatively easy to just download an entire site's content. This website can be viewed offline by simply opening index.html.

While this website's cover pages have been preserved on the Internet Wayback Machine, most of its actual comics have not been stored. Therefore, I'm uploading this archive so that the actual comics can be browsed.

License
After Supermegatopia was discontinued, fans uploaded a limited mirror of it onto wikispaces, with the artist's permission, under a creative commons license. (CC BY-SA 3.0)
However, this website also went down after a few years. Some of it has been stored on the Wayback Machine.
