This is the parts manual for the 1917 model Babcock Optimus Two-revolution press that was installed in the new building of the Dickey County Leader in Ellendale, North Dakota, and began operation in January 1917.The new building was necessitated after the destruction of the original building in a fire in late 1916. Details about the variety of new equipment installed (including the Babcock Press) can be found in the January 11, 1917 _Dickey County Leader_ (see link below).
