Word Keeper Alpha will help you set goals, and track your progress over time through several graphs that give valuable feedback.
It has a convenient word counter that lets you simply cut and paste what you've written to find out the word count.
It also generates useful stats that let you know how you're doing now, as compared to last month.
You can create projects and set goals for them so that you know how much you need to write a day to finish a book or story on time.
Word Keeper Alpha is still in development, and new features are coming.
