Stand "A" refreshment stand was located on the hill overlooking the park. To the right was the hotel and behind me (and a bit to my left) as I snapped this photo was the Starlight Ballroom.The thing we park kids loved best about Stand "A" was the hot, greasy french fries that one could buy for a quarter. We'd buy some fries and a coke and go to back and just hang out, watching the people and rides and below us, dipping our fries into great puddles of ketchup. Good times now gone by...
