The Trivia Records / Zapisi label is a project of the Trivia Art Association, based in Ljubljana / Slovenia. The main activity of Trivia Art is to create an outlet for artistic work and production of its members and associates with a focus on contemporary sound, visual and multimedia production.

With the Trivia Records / Zapisi label we try to introduce the term "publishing" to an area where publishing is still largely nonexistent - to the so-called multimedia art. With the label we would like to overcome the limitations of non-commercial works of art. Numerous important audio and video works are accessible to the audience only for a limited amount of time as art installations, exhibitions or performances to be later "hidden away" on artists' personal computers, and occasionally presented as parts of some festival selection, as shortened versions on web pages, or as exchange material among fellow artists.
