Remember that scene in the 1983 sci-fi fantasy film Krull where the Hero and his men are trying to save their friend from drowning in the quicksand? And as they tried so hard to reach him holding arm and arm together there was no hope because the quicksand took him no matter how hard they tried?
I just had the same situation in my kitchen. So I'm dipping small Vienna sausages in a 24 ounce container of cottage cheese and suddenly I lost one. Try as I might along with the other Vienna sausages we tried to reach him\u2026. but sadly the Vienna sausage was taken by the thickening cottage cheese to the dreadful bottom.
So I just felt defeated, totally depressed standing next to the fridge in tearful agony knowing that by the time I get to it later with whatever it'll be just another Vienna sausage corpse.
And I just can't help but feel remorse. You know I'm going to have nightmares for the rest of my life about this.
