Vendor Name Text (Dropdown List) Pulls from Vendor Contact List sheet. Ensures consistency and accuracy.

Formulas Required

  • =TEXT(TODAY(),"MM/DD/YYYY") – Auto-populates the "Date Entered" field with today’s date when a new row is inserted.
  • =IF(AND(Status="Completed", Delivery Date=""), TODAY(), Delivery Date) – Updates delivery date once order is marked complete.
  • =NETWORKDAYS(Order Date, Due Date + 1) – Calculates lead time in business days (excluding weekends).
  • =IF(Due Date – Determines order urgency.
  • =SUMPRODUCT((Status="Completed")*(Total Cost)) – Calculates total spent on completed orders (used in dashboard).

Conditional Formatting Rules

  • Overdue Orders: If "Due Date" is earlier than today, highlight the entire row in red with bold text.
  • Due Today: Highlight rows where "Due Date" equals TODAY() in yellow.
  • Status Color Coding:
    • Pending: Light gray fill
    • In Progress: Blue fill
    • On Hold: Orange fill
