This sheet maintains standardized client data to ensure consistency across all entries.

Formulas Required
- VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP: Auto-populate "Client Name" and "Contact Person" from the Master List based on Client ID.
- COUNTIF / COUNTIFS: Count number of daily interactions per client, by type, or status (used in Dashboard).
- SUMIFS: Calculate total follow-ups required by account manager or by date range.
- TODAY(): Pre-fill the Date column with current date.
- IF + AND/OR: Flag overdue follow-ups (e.g., if Action Due Date is before today and Status is “Open”).
- DATEDIF: Measure days between last interaction and today to identify inactive clients.
Conditional Formatting Rules
- Overdue Follow-Ups: Highlight rows where Action Due Date < TODAY() and Status = "Open" with red fill.
- Frequent Interactions: Apply yellow gradient to rows where a client has 5+ interactions in the last 7 days.
- High-Priority Clients: Use bold text and blue background for clients marked as “Priority” in Master List.
- Status Color Coding: Green (Resolved), Orange (In Progress), Red (Open), Gray (On Hold).
User Instructions
- Open the template and save it with a unique name in your designated folder.
- Navigate to the “Daily Client Log” sheet. The Date field is auto-filled; do not edit.
- Select a Client ID from the dropdown (data validated via Master List).
- Choose an Interaction Type and provide a Subject, Status Update, and Notes.
- If follow-up is needed, check “Follow-Up Required?” and fill in Next Action and Due Date.
- Save regularly. The template automatically updates the Dashboard on every change.
- At month-end, generate the Monthly Summary Report by filtering data from "Daily Client Log" between 1st–last day of the month.
