Formulas Required

  • Auto-generate Task ID:

    Applies to cell A2 and copied down to generate unique identifiers.
  • Auto-fill Completion Date:
    Use: =IF(F2="Completed", TODAY(), "")
    Triggers when task status is updated to "Completed".
  • Overdue Status Detection:
    Use: =IF(AND(E2"Completed"), "Overdue", "")
    Highlights overdue tasks for urgent attention.
  • Count of Tasks by Status:
    Use in Dashboard sheet: =COUNTIF('Client Task List'!F:F, "Completed")
    Used to calculate KPIs dynamically.

Conditional Formatting

To enhance visual clarity and enable rapid task assessment:

  • Status Column (F): Color-coding: Red for "Overdue", Orange for "On Hold", Green for "Completed", Blue for "In Progress".
  • Due Date Column (E): Yellow highlight if due date is within 2 days; red if past due.
