  • In the Budget Summary Dashboard:
    • =SUMIFS(Bills!E:E,Bills!K:K,"Writing") — Sum total spent on writing services.

    • =SUMIF(Bills!H:H,">="&TODAY(),Bills!F:F) — Total pending bills due today or later.
  • In the Bills & Expenses sheet:
    • =IF([@Status]="Paid", TODAY(), "") — Auto-populates Paid Date when Status is updated to "Paid".

Conditional Formatting

  • Bills & Expenses:
    • If Status = “Overdue” → Red background (#FFCCCC)
    • If Status = “Paid” → Light green background (#CCFFCC)
    • If Amount > $1000 → Bold border with yellow highlight
  • Content Calendar:
    • If Status = “Delay” → Orange background
    • If Budget Allocated > $500 → Blue text on light blue fill
    • If Date Published is within next 7 days → Light purple highlight

Instructions for the User

Step 1: Enter all vendors in the “Vendors & Contacts” sheet first. This enables dropdowns in Bills and Content Calendar.

Step 2: Plan your content for the month using the “Content Calendar.” Assign a budget and note expected bill references.

Step 3: When an invoice arrives, log it in “Bills & Expenses” with accurate due dates. Link to the corresponding Content Title using hyperlinks or ID codes.

Step 4: Update the Status column when payments are made. The dashboard will auto-update.

Step 5: Weekly, review the “Budget Summary Dashboard” to monitor spending against content goals. Adjust allocations if needed to avoid overspending.
