Conditional Formatting Rules
- Actual Cost > Estimated Cost: Red fill on Actual Cost column cells.
- % of Budget Used > 90%: Yellow fill on the % used cell in Overview sheet.
- % of Budget Used > 100%: Red fill with white text to indicate overspending.
- Status = Delayed: Orange border around entire row in Daily Tracker.
User Instructions
- Set Your Weekly Budget: In the “Weekly Budget Overview,” enter your total allocated budget for content production (e.g., $1,500). This number will be used to calculate variance and % utilization.
- Update Resource Costs: On the “Resource Costs” sheet, update any recurring fees (freelancers, tools) that are active this week.
- Plan Daily Content: Each Monday, populate the “Daily Content Tracker” with planned content pieces using dropdowns. Enter estimated costs from Resource Costs or manually if one-off.
- Track Actuals: As content is published, update “Actual Cost,” change status to “Published,” and add notes.
- Review Dashboard Weekly: Check the “Budget vs Actual Dashboard” for visual insights into overspending or underutilization. Adjust next week’s plan accordingly.
