Daily Content Planning Invoice Template for Professional Content Creators

This Excel template is a specialized Daily Content Planning Invoice designed for content creators, digital marketers, agencies, and freelancers who need to simultaneously plan their daily content output while tracking client billing and deliverables in one unified system. Unlike generic invoice templates or standalone content calendars, this template merges the operational discipline of daily planning with the financial accountability of invoicing—making it ideal for professionals who produce high-volume content (e.g., social media posts, blog articles, videos) on a daily basis and need to charge clients accurately per deliverable.

  • Invoicing Summary – Automatically calculates daily totals, client billing, and cumulative monthly invoices.

  • Clients Billed This Week/Month

The Client Master List has columns for Client Name, Email, Phone, Service Package (e.g., “Daily Social Pack”), Hourly Rate ($), and Billing Cycle (Weekly/Monthly).

  • Total Daily Revenue (Invoicing Summary): =SUMIFS('Daily Planner'!I:I, 'Daily Planner'!D:D, ">="&TODAY()-WEEKDAY(TODAY())+1, 'Daily Planner'!D:D, "<="&TODAY(), 'Daily Planner'!E:E, "Completed")

  • Invoice Amount > $200/day: Bold text + gold fill to highlight high-value daily wins.

User Instructions

  1. Start each day by selecting the current date on the Daily Planner sheet.
  2. Add each content item as it’s planned or completed. Use dropdowns for consistency.
  3. Update “Status” to “Completed” when done — this triggers automatic invoicing calculations.
  4. Only update Client Master List if you onboard a new client or change rates.
  5. At the end of each week, review the Invoicing Summary for billing. Export PDF directly from Excel for client delivery.
  6. Use the Dashboards tab to monitor which content types generate highest revenue and adjust your daily planning accordingly.
