Formulas Required

  • In Content Calendar: Auto-populate dates using =DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),MONTH(TODAY()),1) in cell A1, then increment by 1.
  • In Tasks & Deadlines:=VLOOKUP([@Description],ContentCalendar!$C:$H,2,FALSE) to pull linked dates.
  • In Performance Summary:=AVERAGEIF(ContentCalendar!$E:$E,"Published",PerformanceSummary!$D:$D) to calculate avg. views per published content.
  • Conditional formula: =IF([@Priority]="High","Red","") — used in conditional formatting rules.

Conditional Formatting

  • Prioritized? = Yes: Cell background turns light orange (#FFDAB9).
  • Status = Published: Text color changes to green.
  • Status = Pending: Red text and blinking border (using VBA macro optional).
  • Priority = High: Entire row highlighted in red for urgency.

User Instructions

  1. Start by selecting the month using the dropdown in cell K1. The calendar auto-updates.
  2. In the Content Calendar, fill in titles, platforms, and statuses. Use dropdowns where available.
  3. Assign tasks in “Tasks & Deadlines” — each task must link to a date on the calendar.
  4. Update performance metrics weekly by entering numbers in Performance Summary.
  5. Use filters (Data > Filter) on any column to sort by platform, status, or priority.
  6. At month’s end, review the Performance Summary for trends — identify top-performing content types and platforms.
