This is the dashboard of your week. It includes:- Date Range (Text): Auto-populated with start and end dates of the current week (e.g., “Mon, Apr 1 – Sun, Apr 7”).
- Total Content Pieces Created (Number): Count of content items from the Content Log.
- Total Hours Spent on Creation (Number): Sum of hours logged in the Content Log.
- Total Revenue Generated (Currency): Sum of income linked to content pieces via VLOOKUP from Finance Tracker.
- Total Expenses Incurred (Currency): Sum of expenses tagged as “Content-Related” in Expense Categories.
- Net Profit (Currency): Formula: Revenue - Expenses.
- Revenue per Hour (Currency): Formula: Total Revenue / Total Hours Spent.
Content Log Sheet
A granular log of every content asset produced during the week:- Date (Date): Day content was created or published.
- Title (Text): Title of blog post, video, social media caption, etc.
- Type (Dropdown: Blog, YouTube Video, Instagram Post, Podcast, Email Newsletter):
- Platform (Text): e.g., WordPress, TikTok, LinkedIn. <
- Hours Spent (Number): Time invested in research, creation and editing.
- Publish Status (Dropdown: Draft, Scheduled, Published):
- Expected Revenue (Currency): Projected income based on historical averages or CPM rates.
- Actual Revenue (Currency): Manually entered after payment is received.
- Taxable? (Yes/No Dropdown):
- Note (Text): Any additional context—e.g., “Collaboration with Brand X”.
Finance Tracker Sheet
Tracks all income and expenses related to content creation:- Date (Date): Date of transaction.
- Description (Text): e.g., “Payment from Medium for ‘AI Trends’ article”.
- Type (Dropdown: Income / Expense)
- Category (Dropdown: Ad Revenue, Affiliate, Sponsorship, Course Sale, Software Subscription, Stock Photos, Hosting Fee):
- Amount (Currency): Monetary value.
- Linked Content ID (Number/Text): References the row number in Content Log for attribution.
- Payment Method (Dropdown: PayPal, Bank Transfer, Stripe, Cash App)
Expense Categories Sheet
Lists recurring and one-time expenses:- Category Name (Text): e.g., Canva Pro, Grammarly Premium.
- Monthly Cost (Currency):
- Weekly Equivalent (Formula):=Monthly Cost / 4.33 (to average weekly cost).
- Content-Related? (Yes/No)
Formulas Required
- Total Revenue: =SUMIFS(FinanceTracker!E:E, FinanceTracker!C:C, "Income", FinanceTracker!F:F, "<>0")
- Total Hours Spent: =SUM(ContentLog!G:G)
- Revenue per Hour: =IF(HoursSpent<>0, TotalRevenue/HoursSpent, 0)

- Income Attribution: VLOOKUP on ContentLog[Linked Content ID] to pull actual revenue from Finance Tracker.
Conditional Formatting
- In the Content Log: Highlight rows where Actual Revenue = 0 in yellow (unmonetized content).
- Highlight Revenue per Hour > $50 in green, between $20–$49 in orange, and below $20 in red.
- In Finance Tracker: Color income entries green, expense entries red.
- In Weekly Overview: If Net Profit is negative, background turns light pink with bold text.
User Instructions
- At the start of each week, update the Date Range in Weekly Overview. It auto-updates based on your system date.
- Log every content piece created under Content Log, including time spent and projected income.
- After monetization (e.g., payment received), enter actual revenue into Content Log and link it to Finance Tracker.
- Record all expenses—especially software subscriptions or tools—in Expense Categories. Weekly equivalents auto-calculate.
- Update Finance Tracker daily with income and expense entries, linking them to specific content via the “Linked Content ID” column.
- Review the Dashboards & Charts sheet every Sunday for weekly insights: which content types generate the most ROI? Which expenses are eating into profits?
