  • Campaign Name (Text): Associated marketing campaign
  • Content Type (Dropdown: Blog, Video, Social Post, Email, Infographic, Podcast)
  • Channel (Dropdown: Website, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Newsletter)
  • Status (Dropdown: Drafting | Review | Approved | Scheduled | Published | Delayed)
  • Assigned To (Text): Name of content creator or owner
  • Target Publish Date (Date): Planned publication date
  • Actual Publish Date (Date): Auto-populated when status = “Published”
  • Prioritized? (Yes/No): Flag for high-priority items
  • Dependencies (Text): Other tasks this content relies on
  • Notes (Text): Additional context or instructions

Formulas Required

  • In the Status Tracker sheet, use: =COUNTIFS(ContentCalendar!F:F,A2,ContentCalendar!G:G,"Published") to count published items per campaign.

Conditional Formatting Rules

  • Status Column (Column G):
    • “Drafting” → Yellow fill
    • “Review” → Orange fill
    • “Approved” → Light Blue fill
    • “Scheduled” → Light Green fill
    • “Published” → Dark Green fill
    • “Delayed” → Red fill with bold white text
  • Prioritized Column (Column I): If "Yes", apply gold border.
  • Target Publish Date (Column H): Highlight in red if date is past TODAY() and status ≠ Published.
  • Campaign Name (Column C): Alternate row shading per campaign to improve visual grouping.

Instructions for the User

Step 1: Begin by entering your content campaigns and associated assets in the Content Calendar. Use dropdowns for consistency. Do not modify column headers.

Step 2: Update the status of each asset regularly (weekly minimum). As items are published, ensure dates are accurate.

Step 3: Review the Dashboard weekly. Red indicators show delays or bottlenecks. Use Resource Allocation to avoid overloading team members.

Step 4: Use the Status Tracker to identify underperforming campaigns or channels and reallocate resources accordingly.

Step 5: To reset filters, clear all filters in each sheet. Do not delete rows—use the “Clear Contents” function instead.
