FORMULAS REQUIRED
- ID Column: Uses the formula =ROW()-1 to auto-generate sequential IDs, assuming headers are on row 2.
- Days Remaining: Formula: =MAX(0,DUE_DATE-TODAY()) — calculates how many days remain until the due date. Conditional formatting applies color codes based on this value.
- Total Tasks Completed: =COUNTIF(StatusColumn, "Completed") — updates dynamically as statuses change.
- Task Completion Rate: =TotalCompleted / COUNTA(IDColumn) — displays overall progress percentage for dashboard summary.
- Due Date Validation: Data validation rule ensures dates are within the current week (Mon-Sun), avoiding misalignment.
CONDITIONAL FORMATTING
- Priority High: Red background for cells marked "High".
- Status Completed: Light green fill to visually confirm completion.
- Due Date Within 1 Day: Yellow highlight if Due Date equals today.
- Due Date Overdue: Red background with bold white text if Due Date is before today and status ≠ “Completed”.
- Task Assignee Grouping: Alternate row colors based on assigned team member to improve scanability.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER
- Set Your Week: At the top of the “Weekly Tasks” sheet, enter your start date (always a Monday). All due dates will automatically adjust to that week’s cycle.
- Add Tasks Daily: Fill out one row per content item. Use dropdowns for Type, Platform, and Priority to maintain consistency.
- Update Status Religiously: Update the “Status” column each day — even if progress is small. This keeps your team aligned and reveals bottlenecks.
- Review Every Monday: Use the “Content Calendar (Preview)” sheet to visualize your week’s output. Drag and drop or copy-paste completed items into the “Performance Tracker” sheet for historical analysis.
- Use Filters: Apply Excel filters to sort by priority, assignee, or platform. This helps in delegation and workload balancing.
- Archive Weekly: At week’s end, copy completed rows into the “Performance Tracker” and clear the “Weekly Tasks” sheet for next week.
