• Total Cost (Auto-calculated - Currency): Formula-driven sum of Quantity × Unit Price.
• Purchase Date (Date): When the item was last purchased, useful for tracking spending frequency.
• Notes (Text – Optional): Space to add any relevant details like brand preference or expiry date.

Cost Summary Sheet

• Category (Text): Grouped categories from the shopping list.
• Total Spent (Currency): Sum of all items in that category.
• Monthly Target (Currency – User-entered): Budget set per category for a month.
• Remaining Balance (Auto-calculated - Currency): Derived as: Monthly Target – Total Spent.
• % of Budget Used (Percentage): Calculated using: (Total Spent / Monthly Target) * 100.

Category Budgets Sheet

• Category (Text): Lists all household categories.
• Monthly Budget (Currency): User-defined monthly cap for each category.

Dashboard Sheet
