Table Structure on "Daily Log" Sheet

Columns and Data Types

Formulas Required
The following formulas are pre-configured in the template to enhance functionality:
- Duration Calculation (Column E):
=IF(AND(C2<>"", D2<>""), D2-C2, "")– Automatically computes time spent when start and end times are entered. - Date Validation (Column A): Uses data validation to ensure entries are valid dates. Formula: =ISDATE(A2).
- Status Drop-Down List: Implemented via Data Validation (List) with source: "Completed,In Progress,Not Started,Postponed".
- Auto-Date Entry: Cell A2 contains the formula =TODAY(), ensuring today’s date is pre-filled for new entries.
Conditional Formatting
To improve readability and highlight key data, conditional formatting is applied:
- Status Color Coding:
