CONDITIONAL FORMATTING RULES

  • Warranty Expiry (30 days): Highlight in yellow if Warranty Expiry Date is within the next 30 days.
  • Overdue Equipment: Apply red background with white text if Return Deadline is past TODAY() and status is “In Use”.
  • Maintenance Due: Highlight in orange if Next Maintenance Due date is within 7 days of current date.
  • Status Color Coding: Green for “Available”, Red for “Lost/Stolen”, Gray for “Decommissioned”.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USERS (EMPLOYEES)

  1. Open the Excel template and enable editing if prompted.
  2. Navigate to the "Data Entry Form (Employee View)" sheet to enter new equipment or update existing records.
  3. Select your name from the dropdown in "Assigned To" field. Only entries assigned to you will appear in your view.

  5. For equipment you're returning, update the “Status” to “Available” and enter the return date.
