Formulas Required

The template leverages dynamic formulas to ensure accuracy and reduce manual errors:

• SUMIFS/B2:B4 for Total Revenue: Pulls data from the Data Entry Form based on month and category.
• Net Income Formula: = (Total Revenue - COGS) - Total Operating Expenses
• Burn Rate: = IF(Net Income < 0, ABS(Net Income), 0)
• Cash Runway: = Current Cash Balance / Monthly Burn Rate (must be updated monthly)
• YOY/MOM Growth Rate: =(Current Month - Previous Month)/Previous Month

Conditional Formatting

To enhance visual analysis and highlight key trends:

• Negative Net Income: Red fill with white text (to flag cash loss).
• Growth Rate > 10% MoM: Green background with bold text.
• Burn Rate above $25K/month: Orange highlight to alert investors or founders.

Instructions for the User
