To maintain data accuracy and automate insights, the following formulas are implemented:- B5: =TEXT(A5,"dddd") – Automatically populates weekday name.
- F10: =IF(ISBLANK(F5),"",F5) – Ensures blank cells don't affect calculations.
- M38 (Daily Total Time): =SUM(F5:F36) – Sum of all time spent per month.
- M40 (Avg. Time per Day): =M38/COUNTA(A5:A36) – Average daily time investment.
- H11: =COUNTIF(H5:H36,"Completed") – Counts completed tasks for the month.
- Dashboard Summary Formulas: Use
SUMIFS(),COUNTIFS(), andAVERAGEIFS()to dynamically pull data by category, priority, or status across the entire dataset.
Conditional Formatting Rules
The template includes dynamic formatting to highlight key patterns:- Priority Level 4–5: Red background for high-priority entries (value > 3).
- Status = Blocked: Orange fill with bold text.
- Data Type = Binary (Yes/No): Green highlight for "Yes", red for "No".
- Time Spent > 60 Minutes: Yellow background to flag long sessions.

User Instructions
- To Begin: Open the template and enter your start date (in cell A5). The rest of the dates auto-populate using a series formula.
- Data Entry: Fill in daily activities starting from Row 5. Use drop-downs to maintain consistency.
- Review & Update: Refresh the dashboard monthly to view progress and identify trends.
- Saving: Save with a filename including your name and month (e.g., "John_Smith_May2024.xlsx").
