Sheet 2: Summary Dashboard

This dashboard aggregates data from the Data Entry sheet to provide insights. Key elements include:

Sheet 3: Historical Log (Hidden)

This sheet is protected and invisible to end-users. It records every data entry, including:

Conditional Formatting

To enhance visual clarity and alert clients to key statuses:

  • Status Column: - "Achieved": Green fill with white text. - "On Track": Light green background. - "Behind Schedule": Red background with bold text.
  • Current Balance vs Goal: Bar chart using color gradient from blue (low) to green (high).
  • Dates approaching Target Completion Date: Yellow highlight for dates within 30 days.

User Instructions

Step 1: Initial Setup
- Open the template and save it with a unique client name (e.g., "Client_Smith_SavingsTracker.xlsx").
- Enter your personal details in the "Client Information" section at the top of the Data Entry sheet.

Step 2: Data Collection
- Add a new row each time you make a savings contribution or update your balance.
- Ensure dates are entered correctly (use calendar picker if available).
- Fill in all required fields; leave "Monthly Contribution" as zero if no deposit was made that month.

Step 3: Review Dashboard
- Navigate to the "Summary Dashboard" sheet to view progress charts and KPIs.
- Use the interactive filters (if added) to view data by month or account type.
