Table Structure and Columns (Inventory List)

Conditional Formatting Rules
To enhance usability and visual clarity, the following conditional formatting rules are applied:- Low Stock Items: If Status = "Low Stock", cell background turns yellow.
- Out of Stock Items: If Status = "Out of Stock", cell background turns red.
- Items Overdue for Check: If Days Since Last Check > 30, the entire row highlights in light orange.
- Current Stock vs. Quantity: Conditional formatting compares Current Stock with Quantity and highlights discrepancies in bold red if current stock exceeds quantity (impossible scenario indicating data error).
User Instructions
To use this template effectively:- Open the Excel file and navigate to the Inventory List sheet.
- Add new items by entering details in the appropriate columns. Use the dropdowns for Category, Status, and Location for consistency.
- The ID Code is auto-generated when you enter an item name.
- Update "Current Stock Level" regularly after classroom use or inventory audits.
- Click on the "Last Checked" date field to enter today’s date when performing a review (use the calendar picker).
- Check the Summary Dashboard for real-time insights into inventory health.
- To generate reports, copy data from the Inventory List and paste into other tools as needed.
