• Balance After Contribution ($): In the "Savings Log" sheet, column E uses:

• Current Savings ($): In the "Education Goals" sheet, column E uses a SUMIF formula:
  =SUMIF(SavingsLog!D:D, A2, SavingsLog!C:C)
• Progress (%): In the "Education Goals" sheet, column F uses:

• Total Savings (Dashboard): The overview dashboard uses SUM and TODAY() functions to calculate total contributions year-to-date.

Conditional Formatting

To enhance visual clarity, the following conditional formatting rules are applied:

• Goals with progress < 50% → Highlighted in red.
• Goals with progress ≥ 50% but < 80% → Highlighted in yellow.
• Goals with progress ≥ 80% → Highlighted in green.
• Dates in the future (from today onward) are flagged with a blue background.
• Negative contribution amounts are shown in bold red font.

User Instructions

To use this template effectively:
