2. Attendance Log (Daily Tracking)
This sheet logs daily attendance using a time-stamped format. Each row represents an employee’s presence or absence on a given date.
- Date: Date of attendance entry (automatically populated).
- EmpID: Links to the Employee Directory.
- Check-in Time: Time employee arrived at work (e.g., 08:30 AM).
- Check-out Time: Exit time from workplace.
- Status (Late/On-time/Absent): Auto-calculated status.

Conditional Formatting Rules
- Absent or Late Status: Red fill with white text for “Absent” and amber fill for “Late” in the Attendance Log.
- Job Title Highlighting: Blue background for Manager-level roles; green for Team Lead.
- Sales Targets Met: In Performance Review Tracker, use data bars to visualize progress toward goals.
- Past Due Reviews: Apply red text and bold font to any performance review due date older than today.
User Instructions
- Open the Excel file. Enable macros if prompted (for full functionality, though optional).
- Navigate to the Employee Directory tab and begin entering employee details in rows below row 2.
- Use data validation dropdowns for Department, Status, and Job Title to ensure consistency.
- To log attendance, go to the Attendance Log, enter the date (auto-filled), select EmpID from the dropdown, then record check-in/out times.
- Formulas will auto-calculate status and missing days. Review highlighted rows for late or absent entries.
- The Dashboard & Charts sheet updates in real-time based on data from other sheets. Print this tab directly for reporting meetings.
- To generate a printable report: Select the entire Dashboard sheet, go to File → Print → Set “Print Area” and choose “Landscape” orientation with page margins set to “Narrow”. Click print.
