  • Email/Contact: Primary contact information.

3. Daily Performance Summary

This table compiles and calculates daily performance metrics across employees and habits using formulas.

Formulas Required

The following formulas are critical for automation:

  • Auto-fill Employee Name (Habit Tracker):
    =VLOOKUP([@Employee ID], 'Employee Master List'!$A:$E, 2, FALSE)
  • Daily Habit Completion Rate (Daily Performance Summary):
    =COUNTIFS('Habit Tracker (Daily Log)'!$B:$B, [@Employee ID], 'Habit Tracker (Daily Log)'!$D:$D, "Yes") / COUNTIF('Habit Tracker (Daily Log)'!$B:$B, [@Employee ID])
    This calculates the percentage of habits completed per employee per day.
  • Weekly Habit Average (Monthly Trends):
    =AVERAGEIFS('Daily Performance Summary'!$F:$F, 'Daily Performance Summary'!$A:$A, ">= "&DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),MONTH(TODAY()),1), 'Daily Performance Summary'!$A:$A, "<= "&EOMONTH(TODAY(),0))
    Provides average habit compliance for a given month.
  • Department-Wide Trend (Dashboard):
    Use PivotTable with "Department" in rows, "Date" in columns, and "Average Completion Rate" as values.

Conditional Formatting Rules

To enhance readability and highlight performance trends:

  • Habit Completion Status (Yes/No): Use color scales—green for "Yes", red for "No".
  • Daily Completion Rate (Daily Performance Summary): Apply data bars to visualize consistency. 90%+ = dark green; 70%-89% = yellow; below 70% = red.
  • Monthly Average Comparison (Dashboard): Highlight months where performance dropped by >10% vs. previous month using icon sets.
