Formulas Required

  • Auto-Generate Employee ID: Use =TEXT(TODAY(),"yyyymmdd")&COUNTA(A:A)+1 for sequential IDs.
  • Running Balance in Finance Tracker: In column D (Balance), use: =IF(ROW()-1=1, C2-D2, E1+C2-D2), where C = Income and D = Expense.
  • Conditional Net Pay Calculation: Use nested IF statements in Payroll Summary to apply overtime rules.
  • Dynamic Employee Lookup: Use VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP functions to pull salary and tax bracket from the Employee Information sheet into other sheets.
