Formulas Required
- Total (H column): =IF(OR(E5="", F5=""), "", F5 * G5)
- Subtotal: =SUM(H:H) – applied at row 18, excluding headers and totals.
- Tax: =IF(TaxRate<>0, Subtotal * TaxRate, 0) – where TaxRate is set in a cell (e.g., $C$2).
- Total Due: =Subtotal + Tax
- Invoice Number Auto-Generation: Uses a formula like =CONCATENATE("INV-", TEXT(COUNTA(A:A)-1, "000")) to generate unique numbers incrementally.
Conditional Formatting
To improve readability and highlight important data:
- Payment Status:
- "Paid" – Green background, white text
- "Partially Paid" – Yellow background
- "Unpaid" – Red background, bold text
- Overdue Invoices: If the Event Date is past and Payment Status is "Unpaid", apply red border and flashing highlight.

User Instructions
