Invoice Summary Sheet: Layout & Formulas

This sheet generates a clean, professional invoice based on data from the Monthly Event Details. It includes:

  • Company Information Block: Logo (optional), company name, address, contact details.
  • Client & Invoice Header: Client name, invoice number (auto-generated with prefix 'INV-' and month/year), issue date.
  • Invoice Table:
    • Invoice ID: Auto-generated using =CONCAT("INV-", TEXT(TODAY(), "mmm-yyyy"))
    • Date Issued: =TODAY()
    • Event Date, Client Name, Event Type (linked to Monthly Event Details via VLOOKUP)
    • Service Description and Subtotal (from details sheet)
  • Total Calculation:
    • Subtotal: =SUMIF(‘Monthly Event Details’!C:C, [Current Client], ‘Monthly Event Details’!J:J) – sums all services for the client.

Conditional Formatting Rules

User Instructions
