  • Filling Item Names & Quantities: Use VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP in the “Event Inventory Allocation” sheet to pull item names and current stock from “Inventory Master” based on Item ID.
  • Shortfall Calculation: In “Event Inventory Allocation,” use: =IF(Quantity_Needed > Available_in_Warehouse, Quantity_Needed - Available_in_Warehouse, 0)
  • Status Color Coding: Use formulas to flag events with pending inventory shortages.

Conditional Formatting Rules

  • Low Stock Alerts: Highlight items in “Inventory Master” where Current Quantity ≤ Reorder Point using red fill.
  • Inventory Shortfalls: In “Event Inventory Allocation,” use conditional formatting to highlight any row with a positive shortfall value in yellow.
  • Past Due Events: Flag events in the “Event Planning Dashboard” where Date of Event is before today using bold red text.

User Instructions

To use this template effectively:

  1. Begin by populating the Inventory Master sheet with all warehouse items, including category and reorder points.
