Data Types & Formulas Required

All data entry is numeric or categorical. The following formulas are implemented:

  • Variance (Monthly Budget): =Actual - Planned → used to assess performance.

Conditional Formatting Rules

  • Variance Column (Monthly Budget):
    • If value > 0 → Green fill (under budget)
    • If value < 0 → Red fill (over budget)

    • >5% growth → Blue highlight
    • <0% or negative → Orange highlight
  • Total Net Cash Flow: Green if positive, Red if negative.
