Formulas Required

  • Auto-generated Equipment ID: In cell A2: =TEXT(ROW()-1,"000"), then formatted as "EQP-"&A2.
  • Warranty Expiry: In E2 (if warranty is 3 years): =D2+1095.
  • Maintenance Due: In G2: =IF(F2="", "", F2 + 365) – assumes annual maintenance.
  • Warranty Status (color-coded): Formula to display "Expiring Soon" if within 30 days of expiry.
  • Total Equipment Count: In cell A1: =COUNTA(B2:B300).

Conditional Formatting

  • Warranty Expiry (Red/Yellow/Green): Highlight cells in E if within 30 days (yellow), past expiry (red).
