Amount spent so far on the project.

Project ID Text (Auto-generated) A unique identifier like HM-2024-01 for Project 1 in 2024.

Table Structure & Columns (Tasks Sheet)

The "Tasks" sheet contains individual actions within each project:

Unique identifier for each task.
Links tasks to their parent project.

Name of the person responsible.
Date the task should be completed.
Tracks individual task progression.

Formulas Required

The template includes essential formulas to maintain accuracy and automation:

  • =IF([@Status]="Completed", TODAY(), ""): Auto-populates actual completion date when status changes.
  • =ROUND(AVERAGEIFS(Tasks[Completion %], Tasks[Project ID], [@Project ID]), 2): Calculates project completion percentage based on all linked tasks.

Conditional Formatting Rules

  • Overdue Tasks: Red fill with white text for tasks where Due Date < Today and Status ≠ Completed.
  • High Priority Tasks: Orange background for any task with Priority = “High”.
  • Status Indicators: Color-coded status cells: red (To Do), yellow (In Progress), green (Completed).
  • Budget Alerts: Light red fill if Actual Cost exceeds Budget by more than 10%.
