Marketing Plan Chore Chart – Tracking View Excel Template

This Excel template is a unique fusion of Marketing Plan, Chore Chart, and Tracking View. Designed for marketing teams, small business owners, or freelance marketers, this template transforms the traditionally rigid structure of a marketing plan into an engaging, visual “chore chart” that tracks daily and weekly marketing tasks as if they were household chores. The Tracking View provides real-time visibility into task completion rates, campaign progress, resource allocation, and performance metrics—turning abstract marketing goals into tangible daily actions.

  • Main Dashboard: Central overview of KPIs and team performance.
  • Marketing Chore Chart: Core task tracking table with assigned owners, due dates, and status.
  • Campaign Tracker: Detailed breakdown of campaigns with budget, ROI, and channel data.
  • Team Assignments: List of team members with roles and weekly capacity.
  • Historical Data: Archive of completed tasks for trend analysis.

  3. Assign each task to a team member using the dropdowns. Ensure workload is balanced.
  4. Update the Status column daily—ideally at end of day—to reflect progress.
  5. Enter Actual Time Spent after completion to improve future time estimates.
