  2. In Campaign Allocation, link each marketing campaign (e.g., “Summer Promo 2024”) to specific equipment IDs from the log.

  4. Run the Printable Report sheet before any event. Adjust page layout (File → Page Setup) to fit on 1-2 pages. Add your company logo in the header.
  5. Update status after each campaign. Retire old equipment by changing Status to “Retired” and noting reason (e.g., “Damaged beyond repair”).

Recommended Charts & Dashboards

The Main Dashboard includes three embedded charts:

  • Pie Chart: “Equipment by Type” — shows distribution of assets across categories to identify over/under-investment.
  • Bar Chart: “Monthly Equipment Usage Trends” — based on Checkout Tracker entries, revealing peak demand periods aligned with marketing campaign schedules.
  • KPI Cards: Display real-time values: Total Inventory Value, Items Available, Pending Maintenance Alerts, and % of Budget Spent on Equipment.

These visualizations are critical for aligning equipment spending with your Marketing Plan. For example, if 70% of your budget goes to LED displays but only 20% of campaigns use them, the dashboard alerts you to reallocate funds. All charts update dynamically as data changes and print cleanly on the Printable Report sheet.

This template is not merely a list — it’s a strategic tool that ensures no marketing event fails due to missing signage or malfunctioning audio gear. By combining rigorous inventory tracking with campaign-specific allocation, this Printable Excel Template turns logistical chaos into operational clarity for your marketing team.
