Conditional Formatting
- Over Budget: If "OVER" appears in the Over Budget? column, the entire row turns red with bold text.
- Budget Utilization: Cells in % of Total Budget column use color scales: Green (0–30%), Yellow (31–70%), Red (71–100%).
- Pending Payments: Rows where Billing Status is "Pending" are highlighted in light orange.
Instructions for the User
Client View Template Instructions:
- Do NOT edit columns marked as formulas (e.g., Remaining Budget, % of Total). These update automatically.
- To add a new expense: Only fill in the first 6 columns (Date, Channel Category, Vendor, Description, Actual Amount, Billing Status) on the Actual Expenses sheet. The system auto-calculates remaining budget and flags overages.
- Update Budget Allocation only if client approves a budget change — then notify them formally.
- Never delete rows from any table; instead, hide or comment out obsolete entries.
- The Overview Dashboard updates in real-time. Refresh data by pressing F9 if values don't update immediately after input.
