The template is fully Editable, enabling users to customize categories, add new rows, adjust formulas for personal needs without breaking structure.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER
Step 1: Enter your monthly income streams under the Income Sources tab. This sets the ceiling for how much you can spend on marketing.
Step 2: Allocate a % of income (recommended: 10-25%) to marketing in the Settings tab. This becomes your monthly budget cap.
Step 3: Use the dropdowns in Category, Channel, and Status columns for consistency. Do not delete rows — insert new ones below.
Step 4: Update the expense tracker weekly. Record every dollar spent on marketing activities.
Step 5: Review the Dashboard weekly. If any category exceeds budget, pause spending and reevaluate ROI before continuing.
Step 6: Use “Savings & Reserves” to set aside funds for future campaigns or unexpected opportunities — treat this like a family emergency fund.
