    Instructions for the User

    1. Begin by entering your family’s total monthly budget on the Family Budget Overview sheet.
    2. In the Marketing Expenses sheet, log each marketing expenditure with date, category, amount, and channel. Use dropdowns for consistency.
    3. The Dashboard Summary will auto-update with total monthly spend on marketing as a % of your overall budget.
    4. Review the ROI Calculator sheet: Input revenue generated from campaigns (e.g., sales from Facebook ads) to compute return on ad spend (ROAS).
    5. At month-end, compare your actual marketing spend to budget. If you’re over 20%, consider reallocating funds from discretionary spending categories like dining out or entertainment.
    6. Use the Notes & Instructions sheet for templates, campaign ideas, and tax-deductible expense reminders.
