Compact Marketing Plan Inventory Template

The Compact Marketing Plan Inventory Template is a streamlined, yet comprehensive Excel workbook designed for marketing professionals and small business owners who need to track and align their promotional inventory with strategic campaign goals. As an Inventory Template, it centralizes all product-related marketing assets — from digital ads and print collateral to social media content kits and event materials — within a unified framework that directly supports the objectives of a Marketing Plan. The Compact design ensures minimal clutter, maximum usability, and fast data entry without sacrificing analytical depth. This template is ideal for teams with limited resources who require agility, clarity, and measurable ROI tracking in their marketing operations.

Sheet Names

  • Usage Log – Historical record of when and where inventory was deployed.

Instructions for the User

Step 1: Populate the “Settings” sheet with your campaign names, asset types, and team members. This ensures dropdowns in other sheets work correctly.

Step 3: Link each inventory item to a campaign using the “Campaign ID” column (see Campaign Links sheet).

Step 4: After deploying assets (e.g., printing banners or launching ads), update the “Usage Log” with Date, Item ID, Location, and Units Used.

Step 5: Weekly: Update “Actual Impressions” in Product Inventory from Google Analytics, Meta Insights, or other platforms.

Step 6: Review the Dashboard for red/yellow alerts. Replenish low-stock items before campaigns go live.
