      Formulas Required

      • Budget Spent ($): Uses SUMIFS to pull total expenditures from the "Budget & Spend" sheet based on Task ID and matching Week Number.
      • Actual ROI: = IF(Budget Spent > 0, (Revenue / Budget Spent) - 1, ""), where Revenue is pulled via VLOOKUP from a separate "Campaign Revenue" source.
      • Week Number: Generated using WEEKNUM and DATE functions based on a dynamically updated Start Date cell in the Control tab.
      • Date Range: =TEXT([@[Start Date]],"mm/dd") & " - " & TEXT([@[End Date]],"mm/dd") — calculates weekly time window automatically.
      • Status Color Code: Uses INDEX-MATCH to auto-populate a color key based on status, referenced by conditional formatting.

      Conditional Formatting

      • Status Column: Green = Completed, Yellow = In Progress, Red = Blocked, Gray = Not Started.
      • Budget Variance: If Budget Spent exceeds 110% of Budget Allocated → red fill; if under 90% → orange fill.
      • ROI Performance: Actual ROI ≥ 200% → green, ≤50% → red, otherwise white.
      • Deadlines Missed: If Task Due Date (from Milestones sheet) is past today and Status ≠ Completed → bold red text.

      User Instructions

      How to Use This Template:

      1. Enter your campaign’s Start Date in the “Control” cell (Cell B1) on the Dashboard sheet.
      2. Populate the Weekly Tracker with all marketing tasks for your campaign. Use dropdowns for Status, Priority, and Owner to maintain consistency.
      3. Update weekly: every Monday, review and update Task Statuses, Budget Spent (via linked tab), and Actual ROI data.
      4. Log expenses in the “Budget & Spend” sheet using the same Task ID to auto-sync.
      5. The Performance Dashboard will auto-refresh with charts based on your inputs. Monitor trends across weeks — especially budget burn rate and ROI decay curves.
      6. Use the Milestones sheet to set hard deadlines for major deliverables (e.g., “Landing Page Live by Week 3”).

Pro Tip: Duplicate the Weekly Tracker row each week to carry forward ongoing tasks, but mark them with “Carryover” in Notes.

      • Weekly Task Completion Trend Line: Shows % of tasks completed per week to visualize momentum.
      • Budget Burn Rate Bar Chart: Compares budget allocated vs. spent across weeks — detects overspending early.
      • ROI Heatmap by Channel: Color-coded grid (rows: campaign type, columns: week) showing ROI performance to identify top performers.
      • Milestone Progress Gantt Chart: Using Excel’s stacked bar charts to visualize deadlines vs. actual progress — critical for project plan visibility.
      • Resource Utilization Pie Chart: Shows percentage of team time spent on different campaigns — prevents burnout.
